We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer to bring clarity, structure, and consistency to our technical and functional product documentation and help unlock the full potential of our platform for customers.
Role Overview
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for transforming complex product functionality into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation. Your work will directly impact customer adoption, reduce support dependency, and improve the overall product experience.
You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Customer Support, and Customer Success teams to create high-quality documentation that is accurate, consistent, and easy to navigate.
Technical writers act as a key bridge between product, development teams and end users, translating complex concepts into clear documentation such as product guides, user manuals and knowledge base content.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Strategy & Structure
Define and implement a documentation framework and structure for all product-related content
Establish style guides, templates, and documentation standards to ensure consistency across all materials
Design and maintain a centralized documentation hub / knowledge base
Content Creation
Develop and maintain:
User guides and feature documentation
Customer-facing manuals and onboarding materials
FAQs and troubleshooting guides
Release notes and feature updates
Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and accessible content for non-technical users
Write step-by-step workflows that help customers effectively use product features
Collaboration & Information Gathering
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to gather accurate information
Interview subject-matter experts (SMEs) and validate content for accuracy
Align documentation with product releases and roadmap changes
Content Maintenance & Governance
Audit existing documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated information
Continuously update documentation to reflect product changes and releases
Ensure content is version-controlled and remains relevant over time
Quality & Usability
Ensure all documentation is:
Structured and easy to navigate
Consistent in terminology and tone
Optimized for customer understanding and usability
Review and edit existing content for clarity, accuracy, and completeness
Leveraging AI for Documentation Efficiency
Identify areas in the documentation lifecycle that can be automated or augmented using AI
Actively Leverage AI tools to:
o Generate first drafts of documentation from product specs, devops tickets, release notes etc
o Integrate AI and automation to identify, capture, and document product and platform changes from development and release processes
o Summarize technical inputs into structured, customer-friendly documentation
o Convert engineering language into clear, user-facing content

Reduction in customer support queries related to product and feature usage
Improved customer onboarding experience
Increased adoption of existing product features
Fully structured, searchable, and up-to-date documentation repository
Job requirements
Core Skills
Proven experience as a Technical Writer or Technical Documentation Specialist
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Strong understanding of information architecture and structured documentation
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Experience with actively configuring and using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Miro AI and Notion AI to automate workflows
Technical & Product Understanding
Experience working with software products (SaaS preferred)
Ability to quickly understand product features and technical workflows
Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g. Notion)
Collaboration & Communication
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Experience working closely with engineering, product and customer support teams
Ability to ask the right questions and challenge unclear requirements
Nice to Have
Experience in developer documentation or API documentation
Background in EV, energy, or mobility domain
Experience setting up documentation systems from scratch
Basic UX writing or content design experience
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 3–6 months, you will:
Establish a clear documentation structure and standards
Audit and reorganize existing documentation
Deliver high-quality, customer-facing documentation for key product areas
Enable internal teams to contribute to documentation in a structured way
