The job

Are you an enthusiastic and driven IT professional? Do you have a passion for solving technical issues and supporting users? We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer (IT Administrator) to join our team in Amsterdam. 

 

Our IT systems are managed by the Technical Field Services team of DKV Mobility Group headquarters in Ratingen, Germany. You will bring the boots on the ground, providing primary support to GreenFlux’ users. You will support IT systems for our about 120 employees. 

 

As an IT Support Engineer, your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Providing assistance to users via ticketing system Matrix42, Microsoft Teams, email, or in person, addressing their questions and resolving technical issues. 

  • Analyzing and diagnosing hardware and software problems, offering effective solutions. 

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, network equipment, video conferencing devices and other IT-related devices. 

  • Managing user accounts and groups in Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365. 

  • Supporting the Information Security Manager by conducting regular audits and reviews of logs and access rights, which requires a fundamental understanding of information security principles, making it a crucial aspect of this role. 

  • Training employees on software tools and best practices. 

  • Documenting incidents, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing. 

Job requirements

You have: 

  • Minimum of an associate degree (MBO) in IT or a related field. 

  • Experience with both Windows and MacOS; advanced Windows experience is a strong plus. 

  • Solid understanding of IT Security concepts. 

  • Experience with administration of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Active Directory). 

  • Basic networking and hardware knowledge. 

  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and a proactive attitude.

  • A drive for continuous learning and self-improvement. 

  • Professional fluency in English. 

  • PowerShell scripting experience is a plus. 

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plus. 

  • Capacity to be on-site in Amsterdam at least 3 times per week.

The position is based in our office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Occasional travel to our corporate headquarters in Ratingen, Germany will be required (approx. 4x per year).
